Peace pilgrim Earthian was taken to an admission hearing at the airport in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada on Tuesday.
There was a phone link with the immigration judge about whether Earthian can be let into the country, because he “has no money or means of support”.
The hearing has been re-scheduled for Tuesday the 16th, so that the judge could hear from anyone who is in Canada who will be able to say that they will give Earthian shelter and support.
He would like anyone who is able to offer this support, to contact Mr Pope at the Inland Enforcement CBSA on 709 772 5544 [edited to correct number, sorry for previous error] to make the arrangements. The name you will need to use for Earthian is Fouad Payami as this is his ‘legal’ name at present.
It would have to be someone who is in Canada.
The meeting on the 16th will be held in the Recording Room at St’s John’s airport (time not yet known).
Earthian will continue to be held at the St. John’s City Lock Up until that time. He can only make outgoing collect calls, with no possibility of incoming calls.
It also appears that the trawler captain is being threatened with a $20,000 fine for bringing Earthian in.
He would like the above information broadcast as widely as possible.
