Goodbyes

Today after being with my mum for about two weeks, on and off, I said goodbye to her. She has left me in the city I have camped in for the longest after London. I stayed because of her, I wanted to see her so much before carrying on with the second leg of my journey.

I am planning to have the New Year here with my friends from Occupy (Chris and Hanna) and others, and then will head to the historic town of Halabja, which was devastated by chemical weapons in 1988. I want to put up my peace camp by the historic monument of the town, for the people who died there, if I can convince the authorities. One of the things I want to advocate throughout my journey is abolition of all weapons of mass destruction and all chemical weapons.  This must be carried out without any harm to the environment.

I am travelling around the world, for peace, using zero carbon and zero money.
